How we verify

Sources

Each listing stores the URLs we read. The detail page lists them. If a sentence came from a third party, the sentence includes that link. We do not treat a search snippet as stronger than the page it came from, and notes call out pages that blocked a direct read.

Prices

The published-pricing field is copied from the source. If we did not find a price, it says so. The Price shown badge is added only when that field contains a dollar amount and does not say the list price is unpublished. A trade-in promo or an unverified dealer quote does not earn the badge. We do not invent a “typical” price or turn a percentage fee into a monthly estimate.

Pros, cons, and “best for”

Pros and cons are short notes with the attribution left in the sentence. “Best for” is what the source said about who the product is for. If the pages did not say, the field is “not stated.” Guides do not upgrade that into a ranking.

PMS integrations

The integration note is the text we recorded. The filter matches product names inside that note, including Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, and others that actually appear. A match is not a statement that Henry Schein One or anyone else has authorized the integration.

What we do not add

• Star ratings, review scores, or “editor’s choice.”
• Testimonials, traffic, or subscriber counts.
• A claim that a practicing dentist reviewed the directory. That has not happened.
• Hands-on clinical testing. We did not run the equipment or the software.

Sponsorship and referral links

Every listing has sponsored and featured flags. Both are false today. If either is turned on, the page shows a Sponsored badge. Official website links use rel="nofollow noopener". A separate tracked_referral_url field is empty. If it is filled in later, that link is rendered with rel="sponsored". Vendor referral programs described in the listing are the vendor’s own pages, not our affiliate links.

Order

Category pages and guides list names A–Z. That order is not a ranking and not a measure of fit for a small office.

Corrections

Vendors and readers can send a correction to contact@chairpicks.com. Include the listing URL and the source for the change. Updating the directory means editing data/listings.json and the verified date. The file, not this page, is the record.
